1. Agreement to these terms

By using offgridlanddevelopment.com — browsing it, submitting a quote request, running the estimator, or placing an order — you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site. “We,” “us,” and “our” mean Off Grid Land Development, an off-grid contractor operating in New Mexico.

2. What this site does

• Describes our services: off-grid solar, well drilling, solar well pumps, and septic systems.
• Takes quote requests and passes them to us so we can follow up.
• Runs a solar estimator that produces a preliminary system size and price range.
• Sells DIY solar kits and equipment packages online, paid through Stripe.
• Delivers proposals, contracts, and invoices for customers we’re already working with.

We serve properties in New Mexico. Site visits, installation, permitting, and service work are available in our service area only.

3. Estimates and prices are not offers

The solar estimator, package prices, and any figure this site produces are preliminary planning numbers. They are calculated from the information you enter and from general assumptions about sun exposure, loads, terrain, and equipment availability. They are not a bid, not an offer, and not a contract.

Real scope and real pricing are set in a written proposal or contract after we evaluate your site. Actual production, cost, and schedule depend on conditions we can only assess in person — soil and percolation, water table, rig and delivery access, shading, roof condition, electrical requirements, and local permitting. Prices, equipment specifications, and lead times on this site can change without notice, and equipment shown may become unavailable or be substituted with an equivalent.

4. Installation work

Installation, drilling, pump, and septic work is governed by the separate written proposal or contract you sign with us. That signed agreement defines the scope, the price, the payment schedule, the warranty, and the cancellation terms for your job. If anything in that signed agreement conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement controls.

Proposals and contracts we send you are valid only until the expiration date shown on them and can be revised or withdrawn before you accept.

5. Online orders and payment

• Card payments are processed by Stripe through Stripe-hosted checkout. By paying, you also agree to Stripe’s terms. We do not receive or store your full card number.
• Placing an order is an offer to buy. The order is accepted when payment completes and we confirm it. If an item turns out to be unavailable or mispriced, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
• Checkout collects a United States shipping address and a phone number. We ship within the U.S. only.
• Our checkout does not calculate tax automatically. Applicable New Mexico gross receipts tax, freight and liftgate surcharges, permit fees, and inspection fees are handled separately and may be invoiced in addition to the online price unless a written quote says otherwise.
• Where a proposal calls for a deposit, the deposit is paid through Stripe and is applied to the contract price of your job.
• Large equipment ships by freight. We’ll contact you to coordinate delivery, and you are responsible for having access and someone available to receive it.

6. Cancellations, returns, and refunds

This website does not process refunds automatically. To cancel, change, or return an order, contact us at the email or phone number below.

• Before your order ships, contact us and we will cancel it and refund the purchase price to the original payment method where the order has not already been released to a supplier.
• After it ships, returns are subject to the manufacturer’s or supplier’s return policy for that equipment, and to outbound and return freight charges plus any restocking fee that supplier applies. Custom, special-order, and cut-to-length items are generally not returnable.
• Damaged or incorrect shipments — tell us within a few days of delivery and keep the packaging. We’ll work the freight or warranty claim with you.
• Deposits on installation work are governed by the signed proposal or contract, not by this section.

7. DIY kits and self-installation

Our kits are sold as equipment packages. If you install one yourself, you are responsible for doing it lawfully and safely. Photovoltaic, battery, and electrical work is regulated: permits, licensed electricians, and inspections may be required by your county or the State of New Mexico. Improper installation can void the manufacturer’s warranty, damage equipment, and cause fire or electrocution. We are not responsible for work we did not perform.

8. Warranties

Panels, batteries, inverters, pumps, tanks, and other equipment carry the manufacturer’s warranty, and those terms come from the manufacturer, not from us. Any workmanship warranty on labor we perform is stated in your signed proposal or contract. We pass through manufacturer warranty claims on equipment we supplied and installed.

9. The website is provided “as is”

We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that estimator output will match your actual system. Nothing in this section limits warranties on equipment or work described in sections 4 and 8.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by New Mexico law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost power production, arising out of your use of this website or reliance on estimates it produces. Our total liability arising from the website and any order placed on it is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the order at issue.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.

11. Acceptable use

• Don’t submit false or someone else’s information through our forms.
• Don’t scrape, bulk-download, or resell content from this site.
• Don’t attempt to access the admin area, other customers’ proposals or contracts, or any part of the system you weren’t given a link to.
• Don’t interfere with the site, flood our forms, or attempt to bypass rate limits.

Proposal and contract links we send you are personal to you and time-limited. Don’t forward them to anyone not authorized to sign.

12. Our content

The text, photographs, logo, diagrams, and design of this site belong to Off Grid Land Development or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own use in evaluating a project. You may not republish, resell, or use our content or logo commercially without written permission.

13. Third-party services and links

This site uses services operated by other companies, including Stripe for payments and Google Maps for address lookup and satellite imagery, and it may link to manufacturers’ sites and spec sheets. Those services and sites have their own terms and privacy practices, and we aren’t responsible for their content or availability.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of this site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Mexico, and you and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. Changes don’t alter a contract you have already signed with us.

16. Severability

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect and the unenforceable part is applied as narrowly as the law allows.
